Global Navigation

Global Navigation is a single point of access from which users can launch any Bright Pattern product they have permissions to use. For example, agents and admins may see the Agent Desktop, Calendar, and Knowledge Base, while admins may additionally see the admin portal, User Management, Workforce Management, etc.

Once enabled for your contact center, Global Navigation can be accessed at https://<your contact center>.com/apps, e.g. https://example.brightpattern.com/apps.

Single Sign-On

Accessing Bright Pattern products through Global Navigation removes the need to log in to each product portal individually.

Product Menu

The main page features a comprehensive menu of all Bright Pattern products you have permissions to use. Click on a product tile to navigate directly to the desired application.

Most product tiles display an Open in New Tab icon , indicating they open in a new tab by default. Other products, such as User Management, open in the same window by default. Hover your cursor over such tiles to bring up the Open in New Tab icon.

To return to the main view, click Product Menu in the side menu, then click Open in New Tab at the top of the sub-menu.

Side Menu

The side menu displays pinned and recent apps. Use the search icon at the top of the side menu to search your products.

Opening a product temporarily adds the product to the Recent section of your side menu for the duration of the session.

To pin a product to the side menu, hover over the product tile, then press Pin to Side Menu.

Customizable Settings

Click your user icon, then select Timezone and Language from the drop-down menu to customize language and time zone settings. Note that changing the UI language will not translate application names.
